               WEBINAR TITLE: Design principles in IoT & from Concept to Impact: AI Solution and lessons
 
       I.          DETAILS OF THE EVENT/ACTIVITY
 
    The webinar "Innovating with AI and IoT: Principles and Applications" was organized by AppCon, an individual application development contest, and took place on November 22, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM PHT. The event featured Gerald Chavez and Kyle Aquino, both experienced software engineers, as the resource speakers.
 
The session focused on two key topics:
-        Design Principles in IoT – A deep dive into creating user-centered IoT solutions that seamlessly integrate functionality with intuitive design.
-         From Concept to Impact: AI Solutions and Lessons – A practical discussion on bridging the gap between AI concepts and real-world applications, sharing insights from both successes and challenges in AI-driven development.

The event served as an excellent platform for developers, designers, and tech enthusiasts to deepen their understanding of AI and IoT, gaining valuable insights and inspiration to innovate in these fields.
 
 
     II.          REFELECTIONS ON THE WEBINAR/ACTIVITY GIVE RISE TO (LEARNINGS)
 
    The webinar offered valuable insights into AI and IoT, covering ASR model sizes, including Faster Whisper’s memory efficiency and the impact of large-v3 on performance. It also explored the journey from concept to impact, highlighting challenges and lessons in AI development. Emphasis was placed on user-centric IoT design, showcasing its benefits in functionality and engagement. Additionally, the discussion covered context-aware IoT systems, which enhance daily life by adapting to users’ needs. Overall, the session provided practical knowledge for developing innovative and user-friendly AI-driven
 
    III.          REFLECTIONS ON POSSIBILITIES ON IMPLEMENTING SOME OF THE WEBINAR INPUT ON A PRACTICAL LEVEL (PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF LEARNINGS)
 
    The webinar’s insights can be applied by enhancing ASR efficiency, designing user-centric IoT solutions, and using AI strategies to develop practical and scalable applications. Implementing context-aware IoT systems can further improve user experience, making technology more adaptive and intuitive in everyday life.
 
 
   IV.          POSITIVE FEEDBACKS
 
    The webinar was highly informative and provided valuable insights into AI and IoT. Attendees appreciated the clear explanations and practical applications shared by the speakers, making complex topics easier to grasp. Many found the discussion on ASR models and user-centric IoT design particularly useful, sparking new ideas for innovation. The session was well-structured, engaging, and balanced theory with real-world examples. Overall, participants gained a deeper understanding of AI-driven solutions and their potential impact, making the event both insightful and inspiring.
 
     V.          SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE/CONSIDER FOR FUTURE ACTIVITIES
 
    Future webinars could include more interactive discussions, hands-on demonstrations, and real-world case studies to enhance engagement and practical learning. Providing downloadable resources and Q&A sessions with experts would also help deepen understanding and application.
