               SEMINAR TITLE: IT Convention 2024: Innovating Tomorrow: The Future of IT and Emerging Technologies
 
       I.          DETAILS OF THE EVENT/ACTIVITY
 
The IT Convention 2024, held on November 16, 2024, at the University of the East, Caloocan, brought together IT professionals, students, and industry experts to discuss emerging technologies like AI, cybersecurity, blockchain, cloud computing, and IoT. The event featured keynotes, panel discussions, and workshops exploring technology's impact on industries and daily life. Notable speakers included Mrs. Erlynjoy Macaraeg, Mr. Clarence Ray D. Suan, Ms. Akissa Lumagas, Mr. Keïnaz N. Domingo, and Mrs. Clementine Reyes-Valdoz, who shared insights on career growth, innovation, and the future of IT. The convention fostered meaningful discussions on the evolving role of technology in shaping industries and careers.
 

     II.          REFELECTIONS ON THE WEBINAR/ACTIVITY GIVE RISE TO (LEARNINGS)
 
Attending the event provided valuable insights into the fast-paced evolution of information technology. Key takeaways included the transformative role of artificial intelligence in streamlining business processes, the increasing significance of cybersecurity, blockchain's potential beyond cryptocurrency, and the critical importance of scalability and connectivity in both cloud computing and the Internet of Things (IoT).

 
    III.          REFLECTIONS ON POSSIBILITIES ON IMPLEMENTING SOME OF THE WEBINAR INPUT ON A PRACTICAL LEVEL (PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF LEARNINGS)
 
The insights gained from the seminar can be put into practice in several impactful ways. Companies can leverage AI-driven automation to boost efficiency and enhance decision-making processes. Strengthening cybersecurity through multi-layered defenses and ongoing employee training is crucial for protecting sensitive data. The potential of blockchain can be harnessed to improve transparency and trust in transactions, particularly in sectors like banking and logistics. Cloud computing can facilitate seamless collaboration and remote work environments, while IoT innovations can transform industries by optimizing smart home technologies and automating industrial operations.
 
 
   IV.          POSITIVE FEEDBACKS

     V.          SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE/CONSIDER FOR FUTURE ACTIVITIES
 
To improve future events, adding more interactive Q&A sessions could encourage greater engagement. Providing recorded sessions or extra materials for review would also be helpful. Expanding the topics to include areas like AI ethics and quantum computing would add value. Lastly, offering virtual participation options would make the event more accessible to a wider audience.
