REFELECTION REPORT
SEMINAR TITLE: Mastering the Basic of Flexbox
I. DETAILS OF THE EVENT/ACTIVITY
On May 9, 2025, Structure Squad successfully organized a face-to-face seminar titled “Mastering the Basics of Flexbox” held at Gordon College, Room 519. This seminar focused on providing participants with essential knowledge and techniques in using HTML and CSS—particularly Flexbox, a modern layout module widely used for building responsive web designs.
The event ran from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM and was attended by students eager to enhance their front-end development skills. The session included a detailed explanation of Flexbox properties, practical tips on alignment and layout structure, and hands-on demonstrations to help learners understand how Flexbox works in real-world projects.
Participants appreciated the clarity of the instruction, and many expressed that the seminar helped them better understand how to structure content and build layouts that adapt to different screen sizes. All attendees received a free e-certificate as proof of participation.
This seminar not only served as a platform for learning but also strengthened collaboration among students passionate about web development
II. REFELECTIONS ON THE SEMINAR/ACTIVITY GIVE RISE TO (LEARNINGS)
The seminar provided valuable insights into the use of Flexbox in web development. It highlighted how important it is to understand the basics of layout design, especially for second-year CCS students who are starting to build responsive projects. The way the topic was explained made it easy to understand, and it became clear that Flexbox is essential for creating websites that work well on different screen sizes. Learning these techniques will definitely help improve the quality and flexibility of our future projects.
III. REFLECTIONS ON POSSIBILITIES ON IMPLEMENTING SOME OF THE WEBINAR INPUT ON A PRACTICAL LEVEL (PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF LEARNINGS)
The Flexbox techniques discussed in the seminar can be directly applied when creating responsive layouts for websites and projects. By using Flexbox, we can easily align and organize elements, making our designs cleaner and more user-friendly across different devices and screen sizes.
IV. POSITIVE FEEDBACKS
The topic was very helpful and timely, especially for students who are currently building web development projects. Learning about Flexbox made it easier to understand how to create responsive and well-structured layouts. It’s a great foundation for anyone looking to improve their front-end skills.
